About the role

We are looking for a Senior Client Manager to join Very Media Group.

You'll help lead and develop the Client team, raising the bar for client management, media planning and commercial delivery. Working closely with The Very Group and supplier partners, you'll build strong stakeholder relationships, support the team to deliver against commercial targets and help shape ways of working that drive growth and consistently high-quality output.

What you'll do
  • Support and develop the Client team through regular coaching, guidance and feedback, building capability across client management, commercial understanding and media planning.

  • Help drive commercial performance through strong planning, proactive client engagement and a clear focus on revenue and growth opportunities.

  • Build trusted relationships with Very Media Group and The Very Group stakeholders, working closely with category owners to align priorities and plans.

  • Set and maintain high standards for client service, helping the team deliver consistently strong work and build lasting supplier relationships.

  • Improve the quality and effectiveness of media planning, ensuring plans are strategically aligned, commercially sound and focused on client objectives.

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly commercial reporting for The Very Group, ensuring outputs are accurate, clear and useful.

  • Strengthen campaign reporting, turning performance data into actionable insights that inform future planning.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and consistency across the team.

  • Contribute to key strategic projects that evolve Very Media Group's client offering and commercial approach.

What we're looking for
  • Strong experience in client management, retail media or an agency environment.

  • Experience supporting, coaching or mentoring team members and helping others develop.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients while delivering against commercial objectives.

  • A good understanding of media planning, budgeting and performance reporting.

  • Confidence working with data and commercial metrics, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

  • Commercial awareness, with a focus on growth and performance.

  • An organised, proactive and solutions-focused approach.

  • A drive to improve processes, quality and team performance.

We're looking for people who enjoy the buzz of change, the satisfaction of building something better, and the joy of working with a close-knit, values-driven team. If you love variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and embrace change with energy, this could be your right role.

Don't meet every single requirement? We still want to hear from you. If you believe you'd thrive in this role, your unique perspective might be just what we're looking for.
