A high-growth global services business in Liverpool is recruiting an interim FP&A analyst to support the creation of a commercial finance function.
Your new role
Working within a small team, you'll support financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across global operations. Working closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders across multiple countries, you'll provide business insight to support decision-making. Duties will include :

• Support the preparation of the annual budget, long-range plan and regular financial forecasts across the global business.
• Produce accurate and insightful monthly management reporting, including analysis of actuals against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying key drivers of financial performance and highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and data quality.
• Partner with regional and functional teams to understand business performance and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
• Prepare financial analysis and presentations for senior management.
• Consolidate and analyse financial information across multiple countries, currencies and business units.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, SUMIFS and financial modelling techniques.
• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
