We are seeking a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join one of our high-achieving schools in Liverpool. This long-term cover position for maternity leave is ideal for a Female PE Teacher who is passionate about fostering a love for physical education among students and experience with netball, athletics, and handball.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students.
• Organise and coordinate sports events and activities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance student learning.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all physical activities.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other school programs.
• Contribute to the wider life of the department through lunchtime and afterschool clubs, fixtures, competitions, and other sporting opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education.
• Experience in teaching PE at a secondary school level.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Commitment to professional development and learning.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Experience and expertise in netball, athletics, and handball are highly desirable.
