Payroller (Part Time - Hybrid/Remote) - #2170361

Payroller | Part Time | Liverpool | £28,000 (pro rata) + Benefits | Hybrid Working/Remote

Opportunity for an experienced Payroller join a leading Accountancy & Business Support business based in Liverpool city centre.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Payroll Manager (2 in the payroll team).
• Delivering a high-quality payroll service to your own client portfolio (approx.100 payrolls per month).
• Liaising with clients to obtain the payroll data.
• Liaising with clients for finalised payroll authorisation.
• Processing multiple payrolls, applying the appropriate statutory tax rates as appropriate.
• Calculating pension contributions.
• Production and distribution of payslips, payroll and pension reports (approx., 1400 payslips per month).
• Payroll journal reports,
• Process BACS payments on behalf of clients to pay staff.
• Resolving any payroll queries.

The successful candidate

• Experienced Payroller.
• Brightpay Connect payroll experience required.
• XERO payroll experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills, able to work with a broad range of clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Salary and benefits

• 3 days per week - Part time
• Hybrid working – 1 day in the office (as required)
