Junior Business Acceptance Analyst (12-Month FTC) - #2176670

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Junior Business Acceptance Analyst to join its Liverpool-based Risk & Compliance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to develop a career within Risk & Compliance. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will gain exposure to client onboarding, anti-money laundering (AML) processes, conflicts checks, and business acceptance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and onboarding checks in line with AML and regulatory requirements.
• Perform conflict searches and identify potential issues for further review and escalation.
• Support the client and matter opening process, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures.
• Respond to business acceptance, conflicts, and compliance-related queries from internal stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within risk, compliance, AML, conflicts, legal administration, financial services, or another regulated environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and research skills.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
