About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and people-focused Systems Manager to improve the effectiveness of business systems and processes across the organisation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, department heads, and employees, you will identify inefficiencies, establish consistent ways of working, support system adoption, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

This is a business systems and process improvement role rather than a technical IT position. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the effective day-to-day use of business systems across the organisation.

  • Review existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.

  • Develop, document, and maintain business procedures and process guidelines.

  • Work with teams across multiple departments to promote consistent ways of working.

  • Support the implementation and adoption of new systems and processes, including user training and guidance.

  • Monitor system usage, process compliance, and data quality to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage relationships with external system providers and coordinate issue resolution.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • 3–5 years' experience in Systems Management, Business Systems, Business Analysis, Operations, Process Improvement, or a similar role.

  • Proven experience managing and improving business systems and processes.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience developing and maintaining process documentation and procedures.

  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and logical problem-solving abilities.

  • Confidence in challenging existing practices and influencing positive change.

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and support teams through change.

Desirable:

  • Experience with ERP, CRM, financial management, or other business management systems.

  • Exposure to system implementation, change management, and user adoption.

  • Experience liaising with external suppliers and system providers.

  • Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or other reporting and data analysis tools.

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary with annual reviews.

  • Hybrid working arrangements.

  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • Workplace pension scheme.

  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.

  • A collaborative and inclusive working environment.
