Mechanical & Electrical Planner

We are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Planner to join our team in Liverpool. This role involves planning and coordinating mechanical and electrical building services, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. The successful candidate will work closely with production and engineering teams across our schemes in the North West and Yorkshire.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Building Services works across various projects and schemes.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical teams to develop programmes and coordinate activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Monitor progress against the programme, making necessary adjustments to schedules.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify potential clashes, delays, and programme risks, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain comprehensive planning documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years’ experience in a planning role, ideally within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Proficiency in ASTA and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.

Hours of Work:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm (lunch 12:15pm–1:00pm)
• Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm (lunch 12:15pm–1:00pm)
