Prospero Teaching is recruiting a confident and knowledgeable GCSE Maths Tutor to provide targeted academic support to secondary-age learners. The role will focus on strengthening mathematical understanding, addressing gaps in knowledge and preparing pupils for examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging GCSE Maths tuition.
Support learners with algebra, geometry, statistics and number.
Identify areas requiring additional intervention.
Develop revision strategies and examination techniques.
Monitor progress and adapt sessions to individual requirements.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Strong subject knowledge across the GCSE Maths curriculum.
Experience teaching or tutoring secondary-age learners.
QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification desirable.
Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly.
A supportive and encouraging approach to learning.

Essential Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain the required clearance.
Two professional references.

Tutors with experience supporting pupils who lack confidence in Maths are particularly encouraged to apply.
